Attachment Therapy
In Austin, Texas

With Taylin Ramirez

For 20 years, I’ve helped people understand how childhood experiences shape them, their adult relationships, and what to do about it.

Do you keep dating the same type of person, even when it’s not working?

Do you overthink every interaction?

Wonder if you’re enough or too much in relationships?

Part of you wants connection, while another part pulls away or shuts down.

Clients Come To Me When They:

  • Repeat relationship cycles

  • Fear they’re not enough

  • Overthink everything

  • Avoid hard talks

  • Shut down

  • Become hyper independent

  • Isolate

These patterns tend to show up in ways that are hard to ignore. If you see yourself here, there’s a reason for it and it can change.

How Attachment Therapy With Me Works

We start by understanding your attachment style and where it comes from. These patterns were learned, which means they can also be unlearned.

Therapy with me is active, collaborative, and grounded in real life. We look at what shows up in your relationships, thoughts, and body. I help you connect the dots between your past and what’s happening now, while giving you tools to respond differently.

We go at your pace. Some sessions are reflective, some are practical, and many are both.

Modalities I Use

  • Understand your relationship patterns and where they started to help you stop repeating cycles.

  • Tune into what you feel in your body so you can catch and regulate reactions early.

  • Shift anxious thoughts and overthinking to build clarity and confidence.

  • Rewrite the story you carry about yourself. This helps you move out of shame and self-doubt.

“In therapy sessions, I create a place where growth feels possible and healing starts taking root.”

Respond Instead of React

After Therapy With Me, Clients Report:

  • Clear relationship values

  • Better communication

  • Less overthinking

  • More emotional awareness

  • Stronger boundaries

  • Deeper connection

  • Feeling like yourself

“I may not be able to change the whole world but I can help one person become a healthier version of themselves for the betterment of their world.”

About Taylin Ramirez

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education with students from pre-kindergarten through college, and my background as an educator shaped how I see people.

My therapy is designed for people who feel stuck in patterns that no longer work. This therapy is about understanding yourself deeply and learning how to show up differently.

Sessions with me are casual, conversational, and real. I sit cross legged on the floor half the time. You can swear if you need it. We’ll talk about hard things, but we will also laugh. I focus on the relationship between us, because therapy works best when it feels human, not clinical.

Outside of therapy, I love camping, cooking without recipes, and playing board games like Mysterium. My 7-year-old schnoodle, who is a certified therapy dog, may occasionally make an appearance.

Availability: I work with individuals in person in Austin, and via telehealth across Texas.
